Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of Skout Dating at skout-dating.com. By using the site you agree to be bound by them in full.
Eligibility
You must be at least eighteen years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use Skout Dating.
Description of the service
Skout Dating provides entertainment conversations with fictional companion characters through a web interface.
Fictional nature of companions
Every companion is an invented character and every portrait is an illustration. No companion is a real person and no conversation is with a real person.
No professional advice
Nothing produced in a conversation is medical, psychological, legal, financial or safety advice. Always consult a qualified professional for such matters.
Crisis situations
Skout Dating is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is at risk, contact local emergency services or a recognised crisis helpline immediately.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Skout Dating lawfully and not to harass, defraud, impersonate or harm others through the service.
Prohibited content
You may not submit content that is illegal, involves minors in any sexual context, promotes violence or terrorism, infringes rights or contains malicious code.
No automated access
Scraping, crawling, mirroring or otherwise accessing Skout Dating through automated tools without written permission is prohibited.
Security interference
You may not probe, scan, overload or attempt to bypass any security or access control of the site.
Account responsibility
Where access credentials exist, you are responsible for keeping them confidential and for activity carried out through them.
User content licence
You retain ownership of what you submit and grant Skout Dating a limited licence to process it solely to operate and improve the service.
Intellectual property
The Skout Dating name, design, text, imagery, characters and code are protected and may not be copied or reused without permission.
Trade marks
Skout Dating branding may not be used in a way that suggests endorsement, affiliation or sponsorship without prior written consent.

Availability
We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates and outages may occur without notice.

Pricing and payments
Where any paid feature is offered, its price and conditions will be shown before purchase and charged only with your confirmation.
Refunds
Any refund entitlement is governed by the terms shown at the point of purchase together with the mandatory consumer rights of your jurisdiction.
Cancellation
You may stop using Skout Dating at any time. Where a recurring arrangement exists, cancellation applies to future billing periods.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access where these terms are breached or where required to protect the service or other users.
Disclaimer of warranties
Skout Dating is provided on an as is and as available basis without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Accuracy of content
Conversational output may be inaccurate, inconsistent or unsuitable for your situation. Verify anything important independently.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skout Dating is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
Liability cap
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the service in the preceding three months or fifty euro.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Skout Dating against claims and costs arising from your misuse of the service or breach of these terms.
Force majeure
Neither party is responsible for failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including outages, natural events or acts of authorities.
Privacy
Use of Skout Dating is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which forms part of this agreement.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at our place of establishment, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
Severability and updates
If any clause is held unenforceable the remainder stays in force. Updated terms take effect when published on this page.
